Sujata- yes, you only understand their unconditional love after experiencing it for yourself. My son is a bit oblivious (likely too young) but my daughter is devastated.

Thank you Johanna. Yes, I absolutely take consolation in the fact that he was well cared for, and we had the help of an excellent hospice vet who provide compassionate care.

I had a lump in my throat as I read this. I am so sorry for your loss. I have enjoyed reading all of Vaghoba’s adventures and can only imagine how lively he must have made the household. His memories will surely make your day brighter. Rest in peace, Vaghoba.
