The best thing is while you are running, you have ample time to enjoy scenery around you and get quiet time to plan your day or plan your blog article or think about creative ideas. As for actual running, I would make sure to drink water, relax, stretch, good shoes & socks. Feel comfortable and push yourself a bit extra each time.
